Open Office 3.0

In September, Open Office will be releasing version 3.0. It will come with a lot of features I am excited to try out. This blog has some good details. The features I am most looking forward to:
  1. You can open .pdf files and edit and draw on them and re-save.
  2. LaTeX support. See here for more details.
  3. Firefox-like extensions and themes.
  4. The User Interface will be improved. Looks, etc...
Anyways, I am excited to try it out in 9 months on Ubuntu 8.10.
