Webpage To Reassure You The LHC Hasn't Destroyed The World.

If many of you are like me you sometimes need some re-assurance that the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland has not destroyed the world, especially after watching this video below that gives the LHC a clear 50-50 chance it may destroy the world.  (The video can be semi-crude in parts so sorry about that)

However, for people like me they've created a website called hasthelargehadroncolliderdestroyedtheworldyet.com.  It gives you up-to-date analysis of whether the world has been destroyed by the LHC or not using a user friendly info-graphic:

The comment section of the site's html source code offers this disclameir:
If the lhc actually destroys the earth & this page isn't yet updated please email mike@frantic.org to receive a full refund.
Thanks to bijanweb for this tip.

  1. I believe the LHC has caused a full scale event of enormous consequence already. By crossing the streams every physical element in the Universe has doubled in size and every field has double in strength. We may not have detected this change in the Universe, but can you do an experiment to prove me wrong? =:) What did the Ghost Busters say? Never cross the streams.

Watch Phineas and Ferb tackle the issue...

  2. Yes, it is something I worry about frequently. I'm glad to know we still exist. At least I think we do.
