The Sun Wakes Up

Many of you have heard about the current solar minimum being longer than normal. I've blogged about it here. Well it turns out the sun is not quite dead yet:
Yes after a long winter's nap, the sleepy sun has risen again. In fact if you look at the website for NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center, you can see that solar cycle 24 is finally getting rolling:

  1. I'm glad to see solar activity has finally been spotted. (No pun intended. :) )

Nice graph by the way. I'm interested in seeing how closely the sun spots track the predicted values.

  2. Welcome back Mr. Sunshine! My oldest wants to see the Northern Lights and I would appreciate it if you could send them down here to Utah. (Don't fry the satellites I like to use =:)
