Congratulations To Bill!

Some people have no idea how hard it is to pass a physics comprehensive exam. (The exam you have to pass if you want to get a PhD.)  Especially if you are a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Anytime this is accomplished serious admiration needs to be given.

Congratulations Bill!  You more than deserve it.

  2. Congratulations Bill. As someone who has passed one part of comps and is in the middle of part #2, it's good to know there is hope.

Now all you need is a thesis and it will be Dr. Bill...

  3. Congratulations Bill! I hope the rest of your graduate experience goes well.

By the way, I found out that one of your cousins is in my ward. I happen to be her home teacher. We were talking and she mentioned that she had a cousin who was also working on a PhD in physics and she asked me if I knew you. Well obviously I do!
