High School Kid Builds Fusion Reactor

Thiago Olson, a a high school student, spent two years researching and buying parts off of ebay until he successfully built a fusion reactor! A picture of his reactor is to the right. It actually works and has been inspected by the department of health. It has succesfuly produced plasma at 200 million degrees where fusion occurred. This says three things to me:
  • He must be a bright, ambitious person.
  • There is a lot of crazy information publicly available.
  • You can officially buy anything on ebay. Forget needing to smuggle stuff from Russia.
  • He will probably attend the University of Utah.
