I was flying home (err, I mean back to Provo) on Delta this past Monday and a few seats over the seat-mounted computer failed and started to throw-up command line code. And what symbol was at the top of the screen the whole time? You guessed it: the Linux penguin. Well, it may not have worked for that person but my monitor worked well the whole trip!
ReplyDeleteI guess it's not much related to supercomputers but I thought that it was funny.
Yeah, Red Hat appointed a new CEO and guess who they picked? One of the Delta Airline heads who has been instrumental in helping Delta dodge a *really* bad bankruptcy.
ReplyDeleteOne reason they choose him is his experience working with linux.
Though the economy is down, every quarter Red Hat has posted gains.
