McCain vs. Michael Ware

Remember our conversation of politicians doing dumb things? If I were to ask you if the US sends their top general in Iraq outside the "green" zones in an unarmed vehicle almost every day would you believe me?

Senator McCain insists he does and that now large parts of Baghdad are safe enough that normal Americans can safely take a stroll through them. Michael Ware, a reporter for Time Magazine who has also done some reporting for CNN begs to differ and even goes so far as to claim the military laughed at such an idea proposed by McCain.
