How We Use Our Planet
Until we find some habitable extrasolar planets and figure out how to get to them, we have a limited number of available planets to us as a species. Currently about 75% of ice-free land on Earth has been altered by humanity according to a recent study (subscription required) by researchers at the University of Maryland and McGill University. It should be good if we find more about the general conditions of creation of life on an other planet.
