I think it's good that a Mormon spoke out proudly, but his statements have been contradictory throughout this campaign, which is not because he's a Mormon. It's because he's a liar. That's the tradition he follows in the present, which wasn't started recently, but was made sacred by the current Administration and most of the Senate. I don't think of myself as "secular" either. I'm just me. I'm definitely a love American, so we have that in common. Our home is wonderful, so I'm glad to hear what my brothers and sisters have to say.<BR/>Peace.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4212234230338648875.post-91245546534163600072007-12-07T06:54:00.000-08:002007-12-07T06:54:00.000-08:00Being LDS, I can't help but root for Mitt Romney. ...Being LDS, I can't help but root for Mitt Romney. I still think John McCain is more qualified to be president during a time where millitary action and the way we treat prisoners are such important issues, but if Romney can beat off most of this anti-Mormon bias, especially from those so-called religious conservatives that prey on ignorance, and make a good showing, I think he will have done America a great service. Mormonism isn't going away, so the US, and especially the GOP, better get used to it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17367937708444729356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4212234230338648875.post-68507176088219670272007-12-07T03:41:00.000-08:002007-12-07T03:41:00.000-08:00What a well written article. His common sense and determination helped mold this nation and move it ever forward. I believe Mr. Romney would indeed make a better leader of the greatest nation on the planet. His character is far superior to that of more recent leaders of America.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
